Vicki L. Gilomen

Vicki L. Gilomen, age 71 of Eau Claire passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Dove Healthcare West in Eau Claire.

Vicki was born on June 9, 1952 in Madison, WI.  She grew up in Madison, WI, spent most of her adult years in Milwaukee and lived in Eau Claire for over 16 years.  Vicki was a sweet spirit who loved her family.  She enjoyed sewing, square dancing, down-hill skiing and spending time with her friends and family.  She supported her nieces and nephews by attending many of their events. In her later years she was an avid bingo player.  She loved her pets.

She is survived by her siblings, Bob (Jean) Gilomen and Sue (Dean) Gumz, nieces and nephews, Erik (Kelli) Gilomen, Danielle (Mike) Melby, Michael Gumz and Jenni (Joe) Jankiewicz, and 6 great-nieces and nephews (Connor, Jaxson, Bode, Peyton, Ezri and Quorra). 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Charlotte Gilomen.  A special thank you to the staff at Dove Healthcare West and Mayo Home Health and Hospice.

Funeral services for Vicki will take place at 11 am on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Peace Church, 501 E. Fillmore Avenue, Eau Claire WI 54701 with Pastor David Forke officiating.  Visitation will take place at the church Saturday morning from 10 am until the time of service.  Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Roselawn Memorial Cemetery in Monona, WI.
