Obituary
Thomas Edward Taylor age 83 passed away on July 12, 2023 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He is survived by his two step-daughters, Teresa (Steve) Lien and Diane (Eric) Wolfe, six grandchildren, Mikaela Lien, Ethan (Sierra) Lien, Natalie Lien, Sydney (Blake) Willson, Zach Wolfe and Grant Wolfe and one great grandchild, Parker Willson. He is survived by his brother, John (Annette) Taylor, niece, Lisa Taylor and nephew, Dan (Sara) Taylor, along with four grand-nephews and grand-niece, Teddy Borek, Skyelar Wondra, Austin Taylor and Joshua Taylor.
Tom was born in Milwaukee, WI, graduated from Shorewood High School and Ripon College. He served in Vietnam and the Army Reserves. He was a social worker and retired from Milwaukee County. Tom was an avid reader and book collector on the Civil War.
In 1973, he married Yasumi Chino. Tom and Yasumi loved to travel the world, enjoyed Japanese culture and spending time with family.
Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Yasumi (August 6, 2022), his father and mother, Buford and Hazel Taylor.
Memorial service will be performed in Winchester, KY at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in Thomas Taylor's name to Jacob's Well Church, 989 122nd St, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729.
