Shirley Britten

Shirley Britten, 68, of Eau Claire passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, July 10, 2023. 

She was born a twin to Sheryl, on May 17, 1955 to James and Elaine (Welke) Britten. She attended North High School.

Shirley loved to roller skate, ice skate, go sliding, ice fishing, swimming, art, riding bike, and crocheting. She worked at Jenico and Walmart Distribution. She also cleaned houses and babysat. She was a hard worker and loved her family much. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Elaine and brother, Michael Britten.

Shirley will forever be remembered by her sisters, Sheryl Heath, Janice Britten and Sue Geisdorf; her children, Jessica and Stephanie Harshman; grandchildren, Breanna Harshman, Dustin Schlenze, and Sealy Harshman.

The funeral service for Shirley will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at Hulke Family Funeral Home in Eau Claire. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.
