Sandra Lynn Betz

Sandra L. Betz (Sandi), 76 of Altoona, Wisconsin went to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ on Easter morning, April 9th, 2023 after a long, courageous battle with Pancreatic cancer.

She was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on June 13th, 1946 to Kenneth and Lucile (Moe) Betz.

She graduated college at UW-Eau Claire and worked a long career for Luther Hospital in the Lab department, traveling to several states in the Midwest, setting up Lab equipment in hospitals.

She was a well-traveled woman, Belize being a favorite place she has visited.

She enjoyed being the owner of a houseboat and fun times aboard with friends.

She loved cooking; and “wining and dining” all her friends.

She enjoyed her “Lunch Broad ladies” and her “Stitching Ladies” in which she turned out exquisite Hardanger embroidery.

She had a soft spot for dogs, cats, and other critters, always carrying treats in her car or pocket, ready to treat any that crossed her path.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed a good mystery.

Sandi had wonderful neighbors and friends. She had a generous and giving heart, a great sense of humor, a beautiful smile, and an infectious laugh.

She is survived by Jane Betz and sons, Daniel (Crystal) Betz and their children, Jasper, and Adelynn also Michael (Meagan) Betz. All from Hudson, Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth, and Lucile Betz.

Private burial will take place at a later date in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Eau Claire.
