Robin (Harrison) Procai

Robin (Harrison) Procai, 53, of Somerset WI, passed peacefully on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at her childhood home in Elk Mound, WI surrounded by family after an almost two year battle with pancreatic cancer and cirrhosis of the liver.

Robin was born on August 16, 1971 in Eau Claire, WI to loving parents Steven and Janice Harrison. She was well-known in her community as a loving and selfless woman. She devoted her life to helping children with special needs working as a paraprofessional for 17 years at Somerset School District, as well as being a crossing guard for 11 years. She also provided in-home therapy and respite to children with special needs. Robin enjoyed volunteering in the school and community wherever there was a need. Working at Cedar Lake Speedway and Sam’s Christmas Village were things she looked forward to every year. When she wasn’t working or volunteering, she loved spending her time with her family and friends, and especially cherished her time with her son, Ryan and granddaughter, Oaklynn. Being Oaklynn’s nana was one of her greatest accomplishments.

Robin is survived by her husband Justin Procai; son Ryan (Madeline Eggen) Knudtson; stepdaughter Caitlin Procai; granddaughter Oaklynn Knudtson and her mother Mikaela Michalkiewicz; parents Janice & Steven Harrison; sister Dawn (Brian) Messing; brothers Timothy (Amy) Harrison and Scott (Amanda) Harrison; grandmother Audrey Simonson; aunts and uncles Dennis (Sandy) Simonson, Lee (Kim) Simonson, David Simonson, and Arlis (David) Larson; father-in-law Rick (Cindy) Procai; mother-in-law Elizabeth Ellis; brother-in-law Jason (Jill) Procai; sister-in-law Carrie (Brian) Dorfsman; nieces Jordy (Kristopher) Figueroa, Piper Harrison, Alana Procai, Aundrea Dorfsman; nephews JohnE Harrison, Benjamin & Austin Harrison, Ethan Dorfsman; bonus family Bob, Nancy, Margaret & Sam Harper; and many, many cousins & friends.

She is preceded in death by grandparents Elmer Simonson and Eleanor & Steven Harrison; great grandparents Allen & Evaline Parkhurst; special great aunt Marlene Parkhurst; aunts and uncles Joan Zier, Allen & Audrey Harrison, and Virginia & Luther Grohn; and cousin Calissa Simonson.

Robin’s family would like to especially recognize and thank Carmen, Pat, Stacey, and Heather for being such constant, caring friends and helping out with so many things. We are forever grateful for you.

They also would like to thank St Croix Hospice for their incredible support during this transition.

Funeral Services for Robin will take place at 11 am on Monday, June 2, 2025 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 105 S Holly Ave, Elk Mound, WI 54739 with Pastor Joel Certa-Werner officiating. Visitation will be held at Hulke Family Funeral Home on Sunday, June 1, 2025 from 3-6pm and on Monday morning at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family will be providing a donation for special needs classroom supplies to Somerset School District in Robin’s memory.
