Patrick T. McMahon

Patrick T. McMahon, 75, of Eau Claire died Wednesday February 11, 2026 at home after beingdiagnosed with kidney cancer in 2019.

He was born in Eau Claire on August 26, 1950, the son of Edward and Margery (Neururer) McMahon.

Patrick married Colleen Geraghty on September 3, 1988 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Eau Claire. He worked at Hagen Decorators as a project manager for 42 years until his retirement in 2018. 

Patrick is survived by his wife, Colleen; two step children Ryan (Niki) Yarrington of Elk Mound, WI, Justin (Julie) Yarrington of Shoreview, MN, four grandchildren, Ashton and Mason Yarrington and Emma and Charlie Yarrington, two brothers, Jim (Lynn) McMahon of Green Bay, Ed (Shari) McMahon of Eau Claire and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents, sister Judy, brother John, sister Kathleen and brother-in-law Jerry.

A memorial visitation will take place on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Hulke Family Funeral Home from 2 pm - 4 pm. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the St. Patrick Catholic Church Cemetery, Erin Prairie, WI.  In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be directed to Climb 4 Kidney Cancer Foundation or the Marshfield Clinic Health Systems Eau Claire Cancer Center.
