Patricia "Patty" K. Johnson

Patricia “Patty” K. Johnson, age 51 of Eau Claire passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024.

Patty was born in Eau Claire, WI on July 16, 1973 to Dean & Marie (Stewart) Ferry. She was raised in Colfax, WI where she graduated from Colfax High School in 1991. During this time she flourished in show choir, band, and Solo & Ensemble. 

After graduation Patty became a member of the Ludington Guard band in Menomonie, continuing her passion for performing music for the community. She also enjoyed years of singing with a touring band. She performed with several choirs, and she and her husband would later bring the joy of music to the elderly in the Chippewa Valley through music ministry.

Patty always had a song in her heart and lyrics in her head. Through her passion for music and fun, she met the love of her life, Clint Johnson, at Court’N House. They connected during karaoke and continued to share a lifelong love for music and each other. 

Patty was united in marriage to Clint Damian Johnson on April 3rd, 2009. Together they raised their son, Noah. Patty would tell you her greatest happiness in life was being Noah’s mother. Patty lovingly cared for Noah through his childhood, supporting his growth and learning every step of the way. She was dedicated to helping Noah reach his full potential through childhood therapies, nurturing his in-home education and celebrating Special Olympics events. Her unwavering support helped Noah to complete educational journey and ultimately graduate from Memorial High School in Eau Claire. They bonded over Disney movies and enjoyed many days of laughing and making music together. 

She is survived by her spouse, Clint, and son Noah. Her parents: Dean (Cheryl) Ferry, and Marie Jones (Ferry). Her brother, David (Heather). Her in-laws, Eugene and Karen Johnson. Sister-in-law, Renee Rageth.  As well as four nieces and two nephews. She is preceded in death by grandparents Robert and Mary Ferry and William and Susan Stewart.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Marshfield Clinic Cancer Center in Eau Claire, Heartland Hospice, and Dove Healthcare-West.

Patty loved listening to great music and enjoying life with the company of her family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1pm- 5pm on Saturday October 5th, 2024 at Court’N House in Eau Claire.
