Norman W. Sell

Norman Sell, 83, of Eau Claire, passed away November 15, 2023 with his family by his side. 

He was born January 2, 1940 in Brackett, WI. Lived on the farm until he joined Army Reserves at age 17.  He spent his life building homes and cabinets in the Eau Claire area - building over 60 houses during his career.  He loved carpentry and was very active until he retired.  Norm unretired to join Menards and worked there for 12 years until his health kept him from working.  

Norm met his love of his life Erlinda Sell, married her on October 17, 1987 and were happily married for 36 years.  He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Eau Claire.

Norm was a big sports fan.  He enjoyed watching the Packers, Brewers and Badgers.  He was a big Blugold Basketball Booster for over 30 years and traveled to most road games.  

He is survived by his wife Erlinda; sister Gert (Bob) Basacker and brother Greg Sell; his daughters Laurie Nierman and Linda Parizo; his sons Robert, Randy (Sophannalem), and David.

Funeral service for Norman will take place at 11 am on Saturday November 25, 2023 at Concordia Lutheran Church, 3715 London Road, Eau Claire, WI 54701 with Pastor Paul Webber officiating. Visitation will take place at the church that morning from 10 am until the time of service.  Burial in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Eau Claire will take place immediately following the service.
