Nona K. Norgaard

Nona Karen Norgaard went home to be with Jesus on February 1st, 2026. She was surrounded by family and friends when she left this life and went directly into eternity with Jesus by her side. 

We are certain there was a lot of hootin’ and hollerin’ when Nate saw her coming. He probably said to her “Well, if you’re coming, then I’m staying!”, just like when they first met. 

Nona kept a postcard in her Bible titled “Prayer for Kids and Grandkids” with the following verse: Colossians 1:9-14 says: 

For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

Nona’s greatest desire was for everyone to know the Lord. 

She loved her family and friends more than life itself and poured her life into them. Her passing leaves a giant hole in all of our lives. 

She will be missed by her daughters Tina (Jason) Pecor, Ange Norgaard; grandchildren Mackenzie (Will) Fisk, Trevor (Halli) Pecor, and Cole Pecor; great grandbabies Theo and Graham, and many more who loved her. 

As Nona wrote in her husband Nate’s obituary, “We will miss you every day for the rest of our lives, but in God’s timing, we will be with you soon.” 

Nona is reunited with her husband Nate, her parents Rosine and Carvel Woll, sister  Dorthy Christensen, brother Alan Woll, sister and brother in law Janet and Jerry Rott, sister and brother in law Margret and Wes, her in-laws Alfred and Hazel Norgaard. 

Her Celebration of Life will be held on February 9th, 2026 at Jacob's Well Church 989 122nd St, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729, WI. Visitation starts at 9:30AM with the service starting at 11:00am. A live stream link will be posted to Facebook the morning of the service. There will be a light lunch to follow. Inurnment will take place in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Eau Claire at a later date.

Black attire is not necessary for this celebration!
