Mildred M. Neis

Mildred (Milly) Neis age 99, of Eau Claire, died Friday February 14, 2025 at home in Cambridge Senior Living, Eau Claire. Milly was born September 3, 1925 in Beaver Dam Wisconsin the daughter of Gerhard and Meta (Luckow) Krause. Milly was raised in Reeseville Wisconsin and in 1943 married Norbert (Nobe Neis. Milly and Nobe lived in various cities around Wisconsin until they moved to Arizona in 1983. Always the fashionable lady, Milly worked in fashion boutiques throughout her married life both in Wisconsin and Arizona. She sang in her church choir and did volunteer work for her church. Milly also enjoyed music and especially dancing which she did well into her late 80's. In 2018 she moved back to Eau Claire to be closer to tamily in the summer months. She never readjusted to Wisconsin weather and longed to return to Arizona which she will now get to do.

Milly is survived by her children Thomas of Arizona, Teresa McDermid (Dave) of Arizona, grandchildren Scott (Debbie) Neis of Arizona, Marty (Melissa) Neis and Michele Neis of Fond du Lac, her sister Jane Kluge of Eagle River as well as nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Nobe, her son Richard, her parents, step mother, and sisters Delores Strahota and Carol Stelse.   

There will be no public funeral services.
