Michael Charles Greeley, 69, of Eau Claire passed away at home on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
He was born on July 16, 1956 to Thomas and Joan (Scheel) Greeley. Mike grew up in Menomonie, WI as a mischievous boy who loved being outdoors and always kept his family on their toes with his antics. He graduated from Menomonie high-school with the class of 1974.
Throughout his adult life, he worked as an over-the-road semi driver, driving all over the US. He was exceptionally skilled, having navigated safely through numerous storms, hazardous driving conditions, and sketchy "short cuts".
Mike loved to be outdoors; his favorite times were spent hunting, fishing, golfing, and sitting around a bonfire. He attended many years of outdoor music festivals, and loved to be surrounded by his close friends and family. His circle was small but those inside of it were held close to him.
Mike was also an avid Packer fan, remaining loyal through their good years and bad ones. Always a #1 fan, even if he was frustrated and changed out of his Packer gear mid-game!
Those who knew Mike describe him as kind, and big-hearted. He would go without if it meant being able to help someone who needed it. We will forever miss his antics, love, loyalty and even his stubbornness!
Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Joan Greeley; both sets of grandparents; and his nephew, Tommy Brinkman.
He is survived by his children, Micala (Dana) Johnson, and Luke Greeley; his granddaughter, Neesy Greeley; his siblings, Pat Greeley, Mary (Ron) Wampler, and Tim (Joann) Greeley; his companion, Angie Kittleson, and her family; along with many nieces and nephews, and friends.
A Celebration of Life for Mike will be held on Saturday, January 24th, 2026 from 11am-2pm at Kyotes Den Bar & Grill, E2339 WI-29, Menomonie, WI 54751
