Marion J. Goetsch

Marion J. Goetsch, 97, of Eau Claire, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Marshfield Medical Center in Eau Claire.

Marion was born in Sheboygan, WI on September 16, 1926 to William and Edith (Gutschow) Zorn. She is a 1944 graduate of Central High School in Sheboygan. She married Martin Goetsch on October 5, 1946. Martin preceded her in death on January 13, 2006.

She is survived by her sons, David (Sally) and Mark (Jennie); daughter in law, Pat Goetsch; sister, Lois (James); grandchildren, Michelle (Todd) Glaser, Natalie (Kurt) Puescher, Bridgette (Ben) Halder, Eric (Kristen) Goetsch, Brenda (Kevin) Gagermeier, Lisa (Craig) Welch, Kristin Eischen, Aimee (Matthew) Jochmann, Christopher Marks and Maria Grondin; great grandchildren, Samuel (Kacie) Glaser, Ella (Taylor) Hintermeyer, Greta Glaser, Claire Pueschner, Claudia Pueschner, Peter Pueschner, Paige Halder, Carly Halder, Parker Goetsch, Tyson Goetsch, Kyle Gagermeier, Rachel Gagermeier, Jacob Eischen, Alison (Joshua) Derus and Julia (Samuel) Lindsay; great great grandchildren, Rose Lindsay, Lyla Pueschner and Kenni Glaser and several nieces and nephews.

She is further preceded in death by her son, Tom and twin great grandchildren Emily and Alan Eischen.

Marion was a “farmers wife” and spent many years helping Martin run their farm. She was also a member of the Quilters Club and thoroughly enjoyed her time quilting.

A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, September 13, 2024 at Hulke Family Funeral Home in Eau Claire. Pastor Joshua Toufar will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial of cremated remains will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, September 20, 2024 at St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Sherman Center, Wisconsin.
