Marilyn L. Pardun

Marilyn Lydia Pardun passed away on Tuesday Aug 5 2025 at Grace Edgewood in Altoona, WI 1 week after her 92nd birthday.  She was born on July 29th 1933 to Amos and Rose Draeger in Juneau, WI where she grew up on the family farm.

Marilyn got her teaching degree from Wheaton College and taught for 2 years before marrying her Husband, Pastor Les Pardun who she met at bible camp when they were both counselor's.  Marilyn played the organ and piano for some of the churches they served along with leading bible studies over the years.  She last played the piano shortly before she passed away for her niece Pat and nephew Steve.  Marilyn loved the Lord and wanted her family to know Jesus as their Savior.  She prayed for each of her family members every day.  She loved missions and supported them as much as she could.  Marilyn loved to play dominos and watch baseball games. Her favorite team were the CUBS. She loved Hershey  Dark Chocolate Kisses and chocolate Sundays from Culver's. 

Marilyn is survived by her son, Lon (Dawn), her grandchildren Josh, Michael and Abby, Great granddaughter Amelia, Brother in laws Ervin Pardun and Cliff (Bev) Pardun and many Nieces and Nephews. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband Pastor Les Pardun, Grandson Joel Pardun, sisters Deloris Davis (Richard) and Elaine Jackson (Harold).

A memorial service for Marilyn will take place at 11 am on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at The Bridge Church, 1210 E. Clairemont Avenue, Eau Claire, WI 54701.  Memorial visitation will take place that day at the church from 10 am until the time of service.  Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Reeve Cemetery in Reeve, Wisconsin.
