Louise Virginia (Porter) Gundersen

Louise (Porter) Gundersen died July 25, 2026, in Eau Claire.
She was born September 12, 1935 in Eau Claire, the daughter of Lester and Edna (Brown) Porter. She was an elementary education teacher for many years. Louise married Ray Gundersen on June 26, 1965. They were blessed with a son, Curtis.
Louise was a devoted, loving wife and mother, always putting others first. She is survived by a son, Curtis. Louise is further survived by two sisters, Marilyn (Watford) Seguin and Loraine Sloat. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Louise was so special to the nieces and nephews.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ray and a brother Wayne. She is further preceded in death by sisters-in-law, Gloria Porter and Marian Indrebo; brothers-in-law, Lester Indrebo and Jerry Sloat and a niece Karen Indrebo.

Memorials to the donor’s choice. Private burial services will be held later.
