Kenneth C. Anger

Kenneth "Ken" C. Anger, age 96 of Eau Claire passed away early Thursday morning, December 7, 2023 at his home while under hospice care.

He was born Sept. 2, 1927 in Merrillan, WI to John and Fern (Ransom) Anger. He graduated from Merrillan High School.  Served in the US Navy during WW II.

He was employed by Burlington Northern RR. and after that by Ma Bell telephone company.  He was a long time member of Hope Lutheran Church. He was an avid hunter & fisherman who loved the outdoors. He took pride in his fish fries & loved making wooden toys to give away freely.

He is survived by his sister Darlene (Paul) Wechsler of Tomahawk, WI , Sons:  Greggory (Theresa) Butterfield of Merrillan, WI,  Wayde (Vicki) of LaCrosse, WI , Terry of Eagle River, WI, Michael (Betty) of Eau Claire, Keith (Roxanne) of Hornick, IA,  Jeff (Wendy) of Altoona, WI, Tim (Vickie) of Augusta, WI, Daughter Linda Proctor of Eau Claire and too many Grandchildren, great  and great-great grandchildren to keep count of. He was preceded in death by: wife Alice (Elmore); Brother Larry;  Son David, and grandsons, Cody & Christopher.

Funeral service for Ken will take place at 1 pm on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Hope Lutheran Church, 2226 Eddy Ln, Eau Claire, WI 54703 with Pastor Mary Erickson officiating.  Visitation will take place that day at the church from 11:30 am until the time of service. Committal service with military honors will take place later that afternoon in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Eau Claire at 3:15 pm. Friends and family may offer condolences online at www.hulkefamilyfh.com.
