Karla E. Parker

Karla E Parker, 80 of Eau Claire passed away peacefully in her home on March 4, 2024.

She was a Great Woman, Mother, Grandmother born April 2, 1943, in Berlin Germany, the only child of the late Conrad and Hildegard Back. 

She was united in marriage in 1963 in Berlin Germany and relocated to the United States in 1965.

She leaves behind a small family that she was very proud of. Karla was world-renowned for her lack of patience, not holding back her opinion and knack for telling it like it is if you asked for it.

She always told you the truth even if it wasn’t what you wanted to hear. She always had words of encouragement, wisdom, and comfort in a time of need. Everyone always knew where they stood with her. She was genuine to a fault, she was a softy at heart, yet sugar coated nothing.

Her love of family, flowers, and animals always kept her busy after retiring at the age of 72.  She always took the time to share information about her newly planted flowers, the wild animals (birds, squirrels, rabbits) she fed daily and of course how proud she was of her grandchildren.

She will be sorely missed and survived by her daughter Brenda Parker (Jay) ,son Ryan Parker, daughter in law Tina Parker, grandchildren Addalyn, Easton, Madisyn, Mason, and Tiffany. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Glenn “Jack”  Parker, and eldest son Glenn “Chuck” Parker, and her beloved dog Abby.

All whom loved her dearly will never forget her tenacity, wit, charm, grace, thoughtfulness, heart of gold, and undying love for them.

Graveside service will take place at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at the Shell Lake Cemetery, 285 County Highway B, Shell Lake,  Wisconsin,  54871 with Pastor Rodger Prois officiating.
