Jerome “Jerry” H. Bertram, 77, passed away Friday, September 5, 2025, at Dove West, under the care of St. Croix Hospice.
Jerry was born May 3, 1948, in Cold Spring, KY, to the late Sylvester and Loretta Bertram. Jerry was the youngest of six boys, three preceding him in death. Jerry married the late Marilynn (Poos) Bertram on October 30, 1970. To this union, three daughters were born.
Jerry was a proud Vietnam Veteran, serving from March 1968 to March 1970. He worked in various jobs, retiring from EO Johnson in 2014. Jerry would be the first one to help anyone in need. He was passionate about woodworking and created many things for friends and family out of “Jerry’s Junk.”
Jerry will be missed by daughters Suzanne (Michael) Halstead and Monica (Matthew) Koehler; grandchildren Mollie Halstead (fiancé Josh North), Sarah Halstead, Hailey Koehler; and one great-grandchild expected in January. He also leaves behind extended family and many friends, all of whom were very special to him.
A visitation will be held from 4:00–7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 15, 2025, at Hulke Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services. There will be no visitation prior to the Mass on Tuesday, September 16.
