Jerold I. Giesie

Jerold I. Giesie, age 81 of Stone Lake, passed away Monday, October 2, 2023.

Jerry was born in Waukesha, WI and was the youngest of 4 boys.

In 1968, he married the love of his life, Karen. They moved to Madison, WI, where he started in the sporting goods industry. They then moved to Eau Claire, where he owned and operated a chain of gift stores. 

In his retirement, he spent time at his lake home and wintered down in Florida. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards, spending time with his grandchildren and watching sports. He also enjoyed his nightly brandy!

He will be missed by his daughters, Kris (Jerry) Heath and Kari (Peter) Byrne and his five grandchildren, Ben, Karsyn, Sam, Connor, and Dylan. 

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Kathryn, and his wife, Karen and brothers, Ralph, Robert, and Joseph.

A celebration of life open house for Jerry will be held at Hulke Family Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road, Eau Claire, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2023. Jerry will be laid to rest at Calvary Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
