Jean Kubisak Obituary

Jean Anne Kubisak, age 87 of Eau Claire passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Cambridge Senior Living in Eau Claire.

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our dear friend Jean Anne Kubisak.
Jean was born February 13th 1938 in Chicago IL to Edward and Helen Kubisak.

After graduating from High School in Chicago Jean started her career in the insurance business. Jean began spending vacation time with friends at a resort in Bruce Wisconsin.
She was hooked. Eau Claire became her home. We became her Eau Claire Family. Once moving to Eau Claire, she continued to work in the insurance business.
Jean also loved working in several Retail Stores. She began working at Daytons in 1991 when they opened in Eau Claire and remained there until she fully retired in 2013. The time she spent at Macys was her favorite and made her a very familiar face in Eau Claire. Jean was instrumental in bringing the Chippewa Vally Symphony Christmas Tour to Eau Claire which continues today. Jean worked countless hours throughout the year on this event and made it very successful. Jeans passion for Gardening, cooking, and most of all entertaining kept her busy and loving life.
Her Favorite Holiday was Christmas. Decorating, baking, and planning her many Christmas parties. She was the Perfect Hostess.

Jean is survived by her beloved Brother Carl Kubisak of California, Sister Paula of Indiana as well as many Nieces and Nephews.

Finally a letter I wrote to my dear friend as she started a new chapter in her life.

My Dear Jean,
During our journey together I would often tell you this:
Your book of life is extensive and filled with many stories.  Each chapter perhaps a decade.  However, your last chapter will be written by someone else.  An unknown entity whom we don’t know and can’t control. But like many great novels, the last chapter is always the best read.
Yours will be too.
You’ve given up many things over the last few months. Most out of your control.
You’ve sacrificed. You’ve accepted all with grace and dignity.
Continue to do so with the best of your ability. I am so proud of you.

We all extend our deep gratitude to the staff at Cambridge Senior living and Lily Hospice for their exceptional care, kindness and dedication.
There will be no Funeral . To honor our dear friend raise a glass and continue to celebrate this special lady.
