Jane L. Hartman

Jane L. Hartman 79, of Eau Claire, WI, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI.

Jane was born October 1, 1945 to Helen and Frederick Airis in Eau Claire.

Jane attended Memorial High School in Eau Claire. She continued her education earning a degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire. She then worked at the Severson Home in Eau Claire.

Jane married Ervin “Skip” Hartman on June 8, 1968. Jane then worked at the Eau Claire County Health Department and then Nestle Foods where she retired as a Lab Tech.

Jane was a fun-loving person who will be missed by family and friends alike. She dedicated much of her time and loved working at Trinity Lutheran Food Pantry and the Eau Claire Community Table. Jane also loved many other activities such as bowling in 3 leagues and golfing. The most important part of her activities was meeting with and interacting with the people.

Jane was proceeded in death by her parents, Frederick and Helen Airis.

She is survived by her husband, Ervin “Skip” Hartman, of Eau Claire; Sons, Nate and Scott of Eau Claire; Sister, Barbara (Joe) of Oakdale, MN; Sister-in-law, Bonnie Ruesch of San Jose, CA; a niece and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Pastor Patrick Patterson will officiate. Visitation will be held that morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

Memorial donations in honor of Jane can be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church Food Pantry.
