Gregory A. Parr

Gregory A. Parr, age 70 years, passed away at Sacred Heart Hospital on Saturday, November 6, 2021, with his family by his side after a 2 1/2 year fight with cancer.

Greg was born on September 25, 1951, in Mondovi, WI to Jack and Ruth (Bruvold) Parr.

His over 20-year military career started in the U.S. Navy Seabees and ended in the U.S. Air Force.  His last employment was with the state of Wisconsin Job Service helping veterans find jobs for over 10 years until his retirement.

Greg is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Dell, his step father Howard Whipps and his step mother Mae.

Greg is survived by his wife Claire, son Richard (Kristi), son Michael, sister Diane, grandchildren Kaylee, Allison and Brandon and by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 10:00 am, at Hulke Family Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Rd., Eau Claire, WI 54701.  A visitation will be held on Tuesday, at the funeral home from 9:00 am until the time of service.  An inurnment will be held at Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
