Gloria (Stich) Stotesbery passed away March 13, 2026, in Cornell WI, her loving husband of 66 years, Wayne, at her side.
Born October 5, 1939 to Veryl and Lydia Stich, she grew up in Stitzer, WI, graduating from Lancaster HS and attending University of Platteville before her marriage to Wayne at Mt. Home AF Base, ID. They lived at several Midwest Bases as their family grew, also enduring, with family help, Wayne's Vietnam deployments in 1964 and 1969. The family also were stationed at Rhien Main, Germany. After Wayne's AF Retirement in 1982, they moved to Eau Claire, working and gathering loving friends through their many interests, especially their antique tractor clubs. In 2022 they moved to Cornell Health Services and have been lovingly cared for there until her passing.
Gloria is survived by Wayne and children Cheryl Stotesbery Linda(Alfred) Anderson, and Mark (Jo) Stotebery, 5 siblings and respective spouses, 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and many extended family, who will be included at her funeral.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Daughter Susan Robison-Harmes, sister Connie Jackering, her father in law Percy, and mother in law Marie Cooper.
Visitation for Gloria will take place on Monday, March 30, 2026 at Hulke Family Funeral Home from 1-4 pm. Visitation will continue on Wednesday April 1, 2026 at the Stitzer United Methodist Church, 11542 Kluckhohn St, Stitzer, WI 53825 from 11 am -12 pm. Funeral service will take place at the church on that day at 12 pm (noon) with The Rev Rey Diaz officiating. Burial will take place immediately following the service in the Rock Church Cemetery in Livingston, WI.
