Gertrude Isabelle Shelton Little
Gertrude Little, age 95 of Eau Claire went to be with her Lord and Savior who she served faithfully on January 6, 2026.
She was born in Caseville, Michigan on November 11, 1930. The daughter of Clarence and Gertrude (Griggs) Shelton. She worked at the Pontiac Press until she attended Northwestern College in Minneapolis, MN. She married Fray Arlo Little on August 28, 1952 in Pontiac, Michigan.
She faithfully served with Arlo in the churches he pastored for 52 years. She was a dean, counselor at Woodlake Bible Camp in Grantsburg, WI. She was a blessing to many friends and family members. She was a prayer warrior, sharing her faith was very important to her.
Survivors include her children Joy (Kevin) Robinson, Tim Little both of Lady Lake FL. Her grandchildren Tony (Veronica) Robinson, April, Grant, Tamara and Zichri Little, great grandchildren Emily, Cooper, Melissa Robinson. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, one sister-in-law Marjorie Shelton, and many other relatives and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Gertrude Shelton, husband Arol Little, son Steve Little, twin granddaughters Tina and Terri Robinson, sister Stella (Milton Miles), sister Clara Belle (Wayne Brien), brother Clarence (Rebecca), brother Cecil (Contance), brother Gordon, brother Leo (Loraine), sister Dorene (Ed Williams), and nieces and nephews.
Funeral service for Gertrude will take place at 11 am on Monday, January 12, 2026 at Calvary Baptist Church, 3036 Epiphany Lane, Eau Claire, WI 54701 with Pastor John van Gorkom officiating. Visitation will take place that day at the church from 10 am until the time of service. Burial will take place at a later date in the Northern Wisconsin Veteran Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI.
