Emily C. (Cohn) McCoy

Emily Carol McCoy passed away early Sunday morning on November 7, 2021 at home with her loved one by her side.

Emily was born on February 22, 1945 in Baltimore, Maryland.  She received her education in Baltimore as well and later attended the University of Maryland.

Emily soon thereafter, married William Nelson and they had two daughters.  She enjoyed her daughters and their many activities.  William and Emily later divorced.

She had a passion for wild animal art, both collecting and selling.  Later, she enjoyed traveling to many countries and most states.

Emily is survived by her daughter; Deborah Stuckert of Eau Claire, grandchildren; William (Melanie) Stuckert, Maxwell and his friend Natallia all of Eau Claire, partner Jerry Stansell, sister Suzanne (Roy) Ockun of Florida, niece Jamie (Mike) Murphy of Maryland, Nephew Leigh (Claudia) Fatzinger and Joshua and Daniel Fatzinger of Colorado.  She was preceded in death by her parents David and Deborah (Miller) Cohn, both maternal and paternal grandparents, a daughter Dr. Deanna Nelson and a niece Tracy Holzman.

At Emily’s request, there will be no services.
