Edna M. Shaw

Edna Marcella Shaw, 91, died Monday, June 23, 2025 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire.

She was born December 3, 1933 to Wallace and Francis Simonson.

In her early years she worked at Jopek Mink Ranch, Silver Spring Gardens and later in Florida as a Security Guard.

She was preceded in death by her 1st husband and father of her children George E. Schultz, Harry Shaw, and a special friend Ed Carter. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Francis, her son Michael and a daughter Jean Marie and many siblings (15).

She is survived by Carol Dimmick of Altoona, Lois (Bill) Setterlund of Red Wing, MN, Sandy Shong of Eau Claire, Allan Schultz of Elk Lake, Mary (Dennis) of Eau Claire, Gloria Blicher of Charles City, Iowa, and Alice Miller of Cambridge, WI. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 33 great grandkids, and 8 great great grandkids. She loved talking to them, they gave her a lot of smiles. She is further survived by 2 brothers, 1 sister and many nieces and nephews.

Her favorite things were black jelly beans, tacos, going to the movies and eating lots of popcorn and puzzles. She loved her roses in her front yard and watching birds.

A visitation for Edna will take place on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 930-1130 am at Hulke Family Funeral Home. An inurnment with a committal service will take place at 12 pm (noon) at Brunswick Cemetery in the township of Brunswick.
