Edith "Edie" O. Anderson

Edith Olive Anderson “Edie “ age 94 passed away Sunday May 1, 2022 at Ridgewood Care Center in Racine, Wisconsin. She was born June 8, 1927 daughter of the late Wesley and Emma (Werlein) Hemenway of Fall Creek, Wisconsin.

On April 22, 1944 in St. Paul, Minnesota Edie was united in marriage to Edward C. Anderson (the love of her life). They enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling and many wonderful times at their cottage at Lake Holcomb. The cottage was a gathering place for their family and friends. They had many nieces and nephews great, great great, great great great who they loved and cherished. Edie wanted to thank all of them for their love and care.

Edie was preceded in death by her husband Ed, her brothers Vernon and Leonard Hemenway, twin sisters Violet Ellingson and Vennata DeVore.

Edie wanted to Thank her special friends for their love and kindness Judy, June, Ginger and Ann.

A memorial service for Edie will take place at 11 am on Friday, May 13, 2022 at Hulke Family Funeral Home. Memorial visitation will take place on that day from 10 am until the time of service.  Inurnment will take place in the Rest Haven Cemetery in the Town of Washington immediately following the service.
