Bradley "Brad" Anding Obituary

Bradley Shawn Anding, 56, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away in Marshfield, Wisconsin due to unforeseen heart complications on Saturday June 15, 2024.

Brad was born on May 4th, 1968 to Anabelle Louise (Garbusch) Anding and George Henry Anding. He graduated from Neillsville High School in 1986, where he was an exemplary multi-sport athlete. Brad carried his love for sports in his active nature throughout his life.

Brad began working early on as a tree trimmer, and after serving in the US Navy 1986-1990 at 18 years old and being in Naval Reserve for several years, began his post-secondary education for HVAC at CVTC in Eau Claire. He graduated with his certifications in 1995. During his education he began his internship with Erv Smith Services and continued working with them for his entire career. He obtained his Wisconsin Engineering Stamp and contracting license during his career. Brad loved his work family, was always willing to help, and took great pride in his work. He always wanted to make work enjoyable for everyone. Additionally, Brad started a solo pressure washing business in addition to work for several years called Chippewa Valley Exterior Restore and Wash.

In 1990, Brad met the love of his life Stacy Michelle Schrank from Neillsville, WI. They married May 28th, 1993. Brad and Stacy had a child September 8, 1997, who is his whole heart. He the most compassionate, caring, and loving father. As a family they loved adventuring—boating, attending music festivals, learning to scuba dive, and spending long laughter-filled hours around the dinner table. He was our selfless, gentle, unwavering protector.

Brad had three beloved family dogs, Brittany, Macy, and Po. He was known to fiercely love all the animals in his path.

Brad was preceded in death by his mother Anabelle, father George, and sister Georgiann Howard of Granton WI.

He is survived by his wife, Stacy, daughter, Madi (Luc Larson), brother-in-law William Howard of Neillsville, WI; and siblings Daryl Anding of Milwaukee, WI; Marilyn (Mike) Durand of Burnsville MN; Doug (Renee) Anding of Marshfield, WI; David (Donna) Anding of Greenwood, WI; Linda (Greg) Foster of Neillsville, WI; Curtis (Chris) Anding of Granton, WI; Linda (Greg) Foster of Neillsville, WI; Craig Anding of Nashville, TN; Gordon (Bard) Anding of Marshfield, WI; Gail (Rollin) Opelt of Neillsville, WI; Gary (Christy) Anding of Neillsville, WI; Blaine (Maricris) Anding of Houston, TX; Brain Anding of Neillsville, WI; Brenda (Aaron) Coleman of University Place, WA; as well as so many other close family members and wonderful friends.

Bradley was the epitome of a selfless, joyful, effervescent man. He was extremely passionate, caring, and kind. He was always hardworking, supportive, giving, calm, and goofy. Despite his silly nature, Brad always carried himself with integrity. He cared deeply for many, but no one more than Stacy, Madison, and dog Po. Although he’s gone, his legacy and spirit will live on through all of us, and we will celebrate him always.
