Betty Juve Obituary

Betty Lou Juve, age 88, of Altoona, Wisconsin, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, April 3, 2026, passing away peacefully at her home.

Betty was born on August 22, 1937, in Des Plaines, Illinois, to Herman and Agnes (Salewski) Meinshausen. After graduating from high school, she attended North Central Bible College, where she met the love of her life, Marvel Juve. The two were married on May 25, 1957, in St. Paul, Minnesota, and shared a life centered on faith, family, and love.

Betty loved life and brought warmth and joy to those around her. She was a positive, welcoming person with a wonderful sense of humor and a love of laughter. An incredible hostess, Betty found great joy in cooking, baking, and sharing good conversation. She especially cherished time with her family, enjoyed watching the Milwaukee Brewers, and took delight in finding great bargains at garage sales and grocery stores.

Betty is lovingly survived by her husband, Marvel Juve; her children, Marsha (Bill) Steen of Garrison, Minnesota, Melonie (Brent) Balken of Appleton, Wisconsin, Steve (Tammy) Juve of Blaine, Minnesota, and Scott (Jeanne) Juve of Appleton, Wisconsin; and her son-in-law, Eric Rasmussen. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Melinda (Juve) Rasmussen, her parents, Herman and Agnes (Salewski) Meinshausen, her parents-in-law, Kermit and Adeline Juve, her sister, Shirley (Meinshausen) Bundrock, and five great-grandchildren, Lucia, Bennet, Tryg, Lincoln, and Cadence.

Betty will be remembered for her steadfast faith, her generous heart, her joyful spirit, and the deep love she had for her family and friends.
