Barbara J. Stanfield

Barbara Jean Stanfield, 86, currently of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, passed away Friday, August 30, 2024.

Barb was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a 53 year resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was a homemaker and active volunteer in the Colorado Springs community, especially with Corpus Christi Catholic Church and Penrose Hospital. She was a fine artist who was fascinated by faces.

She was born March 13, 1938 in Kansas City, MO to Riley and Mildred (Cooley) Fisher. They precede her in death. On June 14, 1958 she married Jack R. Stanfield. Jack survives.

Barb is further survived by her two daughters, Teresa (Greg) Burnett and Mary Stanfield; daughter in law, Julianne Merriam; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her son, Mark Stanfield.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 27, 2024 at Immaculate Conception Church,1712 Highland Avenue, Eau Claire, Wisconsin 54701. Father Francis Thadathil will officiate. Visitation will be held at Immaculate Conception Church that morning from 9:30-10:30 AM. Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 10:30. Interment will take place at a later date at St. Mary’s Cathedral Columbarium in Colorado Springs, CO.  To view the Mass via live stream, please click here.
