Angela Theresa Larrabee (nee. Brantner), of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on January 13th, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was 63 years old.
A lifelong Wisconsin resident, Angie lived a life rooted in faith, family, and service to others. She was a devout Catholic whose faith guided her daily life and brought her comfort and strength in all seasons. She was a faithful member of Sacred Heart - Saint Patrick’s Parish, where she found community and purpose.
Angie had a special gift for creating warmth in both her home and the lives of others. She was an accomplished quilter, crafting beautiful quilts that were more than keepsakes—they were expressions of love, patience, and care, lovingly stitched for family and friends. Her kitchen was another place where her love shone brightly. Each year, she joyfully baked for those she loved, always making sure to include her cherished blackcap jam, a tradition eagerly anticipated and fondly remembered.
After surviving her first bout of cancer, Angie turned her experience into a calling to help others. She became a certified mammographer and dedicated herself to caring for women facing breast cancer, offering not only professional skill but also compassion, understanding, and hope. Through her work, she touched countless lives, walking alongside others with empathy born of her own journey.
She was a devoted wife to her loving husband, Michael, and a proud and nurturing mother to her four children, Sean, Teresa, Christian, and Rachel. She is also survived by her siblings, Peggy (Steve) Brummond, Betty (Mike) Bogstad, Rick (Jamie) Brantner, June Brantner, and Rita (Gary) Lawrence, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories, laughter, and steadfast support. She was preceded in death by her parents, Matt and Theresa Brantner (Seipel), and her brothers, Patrick, and Michael.
Angie will be remembered for her kindness, gentle spirit, strong faith, and generous heart. Her legacy lives on through her family, the women she helped heal and comfort, the quilts she stitched, and the traditions—sweet and meaningful—that she lovingly passed on.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Marshfield Clinic Research Institute, in keeping with her faith and lifelong dedication to helping others.
