Andrew Mellor Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce Andrew Mellor, age 73, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 21st 2026.

Andy was proceeded in death by his parents Henry and Anne Mellor and his brother, Michael Mellor. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Debra Mellor; daughters Josefa (Chris) Bridges and Kelly (Ty) Shrader; sister Maureen (Warren) Handy; brother Stephen Mellor, granddaughters Julie and Rachel Shrader, and countless friends and family members.

Andy was born in Long Island NY and developed a love of music from an early age. He played in garage bands as young man and continued to rock out on the guitar for the rest of life. He recorded many of his bangers and completed an album in the early 2000s. Andy was an owner-operator truck driver throughout his entire career, retiring in 2020. It was while on the road he met his wife, Deb and moved to the mid-west.

He loved riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family, friends and his hound dog Ruby. Andy was an easy friend to all that took the time to know him. A kind soul that would do anything for those he loved. He was truly too cool to be forgotten, and will always be in our thoughts and hearts.

A celebration of Andy’s exceptional life will be held on Sunday, May 17th from 2:30pm-5pm at Lazy Monk Brewery in Eau Claire. We invite all who knew and loved Andy to join us in honoring his memory.

Andy was an avid animal lover. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation directly to the Eau Claire Community Humane Association. This, we believe, will be the best tribute to his extraordinary life.
