Andree Biles Obituary

Andree Marie Biles passed away peacefully at home on October 14, 2025. She was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in July of 2023. Throughout her journey she displayed incredible courage and unwavering grace.

Andree was born in Alma, Wisconsin on September 17, 1935. She was raised on her family farm. It was truly a family farm. Her early years were spent on the farm with her parents,  Aunt and Uncle along with their 4 kids. Her Grandma and an Uncle were there too. She cherished those memories. These cousins were like siblings to her. She was thrilled to celebrate her 90th on the farm with all 4 cousins.

She graduated from UW-Stout in 1957 with a degree in Home Economics. She taught at several schools in Wisconsin including 22 years for the Eau Claire Area School District. She earned her Masters Degree in 1978.

In 1957 she married the love of her life John Biles. They were happily married for 66 years. They fully enjoyed their time together. Their retirement included traveling the Mississippi on their houseboat, traveling throughout the US in their motor home, many family vacations to Gulf Shores and Phoenix.

Andree was a loving wife, a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be remembered always for her kind, gentle, thoughtful, loving and caring ways. She always saw the good in everyone.

Her passions included spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren, and her exceptional talent for sewing and creating individual gifts for her family and friends. Her unending smile and positive outgoing personality will live forever in the hearts of her family and friends.

Andree is survived by her loving daughters, Susan Blackburn and Sally (Tim) Sturz. She also leaves behind her three grandchildren, Andrew (Alyssa) Sturz, Jason Sturz and Andree (Tyler) Wolf and great grandchildren Wyatt, Emma, Carson and Mason. She was preceded in death by her husband John Biles, her parents Andrew and Olga Jost and her son in law Bill Blackburn.

A private family ceremony will be held at a later date.
