Amy Jo Naiberg’s soul went to heaven on May 22, 2023. Amy was 33 years old.
Amy was born on December 29, 1989 to Lynn (Wasieleski) and Thomas Naiberg in Eau Claire Wisconsin. Amy graduated from North High School in 2008 and attended three years of college at the University of Wisconsin-Barron/Eau Claire.
Amy loved deeply. She loved Jesus, her family, and all animals. Amy will be missed, every day, and we will remember her laughter and passion for life. Amy's laughter was contagious, and she was able to laugh, no matter the circumstances.
Despite Amy’s kindness and compassion for all living things, addiction does not discriminate. Amy died from an accidental drug overdose. She told us this day would come and shared that the odds of her surviving her disease were less than one percent. Nonetheless, over the last 10 years of her life, Amy battled the disease of drug addiction, participated in treatment, and longed for a life without the pull of drugs.
Amy will be missed every day by her parents, Lynn and Tom Naiberg, brother Joe (Jess) Naiberg, “adopted brother” Ben Martinez (Celeste Moore), nephews/niece: Sam, Eli, and Josie, and her many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Amy signed all her letters, “Peace and Love, Amy Jo”. We ask that in remembrance of Amy, and in lieu of flowers, you continue to share peace and love with your family, friends, and neighbors.
A celebration of Amy’s life will be held in the fall with details to come. Friends and family may offer condolences online at www.hulkefamilyfh.com. Hulke Family Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, so that whoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:16
