Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow. Deb was a great friend to us. We remember her love of canoeing, quilting, and children's ministry and we enjoyed doing these things with her. We enjoyed the times that she sang at church. Most of all we share her love for her Lord Jesus.

Oh Bunny! I was shocked to see this in the paper today!!! Deb was such a sweetheart that touched others hearts!! I loved when we worked on the dramas, or Sunday school, but my all time favorite was when she would sing "They Could Not". Wow! Thomas Campbell once said, "to live on in the hearts left behind is to never die". "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. This is a huge loss and I am so sorry!!!

    Bunny and family,

We are so sorry to hear of Deb’s passing so young. We remember a lot of good time with her at the Wesleyan Church. She was so talented on the Worship team and in her work on musicals and with the children. May God comfort your family at such a hard time, and may He bless you. We always admired her.

I have fond memories of working with Deb at Robbins and getting to know the rest of the Mantik family through church. Praying for the Lord’s peace during this time.

  10. Amy Smith November 14, 2020

Since I’ve worked at Robbins, I’ve had the privilege to get to know Deb more. Prior to working with her, I only knew her as a close friend of Sharon Johnson. I always looked forward to the days when she would be a substitute. The wise advice she would offer will be truly missed! I’ve learned a lot just watching how she would handle the challenging students with ease. Death is never easy or fair. Death wasn’t God’s plan for any of us. Thats why it hurts so bad. It is the result of the sins of humanity. But Jesus came to undo our shared mess of sin. That’s the hope we have!! Praying for peace and comfort for you you all.
