Sally A. Molitor, February 4, 1948 - March 3, 2019

Sally A. Molitor
Send Condolence

This is the story of Sally Ann (Williams) Molitor. Sally was a wonderful woman that was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished. Our “Mammy,” as she liked to be called by her grandchildren was an amazing wife, mom, daughter, grandmother, and sister.

Sally was born on February 4, 1948 in Eau Claire to Donald “Don” and Ruth Williams. She was a 1966 graduate of Eau Claire Memorial High School. She attended the Eau Claire Beauty School and graduated in 1967. She married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Michael “Mike” J. Molitor on October 7, 1967 after declaring years before that she would when they first met at the Eau Claire YMCA.

Sally was a dedicated and selfless mother and wife first and foremost. She treasured and embraced every moment with her family. They enjoyed spending their summer weekends up at their camper on Long Lake. Their favorite past times were camping, fishing, and water skiing for the Eau Claire Ski Sprites.

Sally was a devout member of Immaculate Conception Parish in Eau Claire. Her faith was of the utmost importance to her and she passed peacefully knowing that she would be reunited with her true love, Michael, in heaven.

Family and friends refer to Sally as a generous and kind-hearted soul who brought joy to everyone she met. She will be remembered by her crafty and creative insight and her fearlessness in tackling any DIY project that came her way. All will fondly be reminded of Sally and her affinity for bird watching and gardening when the flowers bloom and the birds sing in the Spring.

Loved ones that cleared the path for Sally are her father Donald Williams, her mother Ruth Williams, her soulmate Michael J. Molitor, and her beloved black Labrador Retrievers Mikey and Tucker Levi.

Loved ones that will miss Sally until they meet again are her brother Donald Williams Jr., her daughter Heidi (Jeff) Boysen, her son Anthony (Julie) Molitor, her son Michael R. Molitor, her granddaughter Hannah (Ryan Connor) Graves, granddaughter Gabriela (Jon Egan) Graves, and granddaughter Illiana Smith.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Eau Claire YMCA in her memory.

Please join us in celebrating Sally’s life. Visitation will be at Hulke Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services on Friday, March 8, 2019 from 5 until 8 p.m. where a 7 p.m. prayer service will be held. While I was fortunate enough to get to meet your Mammy once, I am more familiar with your family's love & care for her. How lucky she was to always have you by her side! Your constancy of love, companionship, and help inspired me and, I'm sure, meant the world to her.

May she rest in God's eternal light and peace, and may God comfort you all in your mourning.
