VOLD, Linda Ann (nanabear), age 58, formerly of Eau Claire passed away the morning of Wednesday, February 6, 2019.

Linda was a high school graduate from Mooseheart H.S 1979, later graduating from UW-Stout with a B.S in human development & family studies.  Linda dedicated 25 years investing her energy and heart into child development, which she had a true passion for and it showed in her love for her three children in which she always no matter what was proud of.  Linda from the age of 3 grew up in an orphanage in Mooseheart with her 9 brothers and 2 sisters, following the passing of her parents and sister.  From there is where her overwhelming love for children and compassion of selfless love for humanity was ignited.  Linda enjoyed making blankets with her sister for those in need at the homeless shelter, along with spending time with her beloved grandchildren and children.  Some of her greatest memories were of camping trips and get togethers with her siblings and their families.  When you need a friend she was the one to make you laugh, when you’re sad she was the mother’s shoulder you could cry on, and when life knocked you down she was the beautiful soul to pick you up and lift you higher.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Susan.

Funeral service will take place at 2 pm on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Hulke Family Funeral Home.  Visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at the funeral home from 12:00 pm (noon) until the time of service.

Linda was always such a sweet, kind person. She was my date at the Military Ball in 1979 and we had such a great time. We reconnected a few years ago via Facebook and I'm so glad that we did. I was able to see her life filled with family - the family she loved so much. My thoughts are with Linda's family - knowing that she was a special friend to many of us. We are all better for knowing her. Love you Linda!

Linda came to my place with her brother David and another cousin Lewis. She was such fun. We had a great time together laughing it up. What a lovely person inside and outside. She lived an important life. Carol and I remember the traumatic, horrific family accident so many years ago. Her mom and dad and sister will welcome her.
