Our condolences on the passing of Soni. I was always happy to see her and call her cousin. She will be greatly missed by a lot of people. It gives us pleasure to think she may be sharing a card game or pitching horseshoes with Eldora's late husband Roger Heller and Eldora's brother, Leland.

I met Sonja a few years ago at Spirit Lutheran. She was helping with voting and we struck up a conversation and exchanged phone numbers. Ever since then for every holiday she has sent me a greeting and a cute holiday picture/meme. Today I sent her a Valentines greeting but it was returned so I knew something was wrong, then I saw the email form Spirit she had passed. I just wanted to let you know her messages always brought a smile to my face every holiday and I will continue to think of her and miss her cheer. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Bonnie Thalacker.

Soni will be missed by anyone who was blessed to get to know her smile, quick wit, and passion for family, friends, baseball, crafting, trivia facts and just talking and catching up. Soni's passion for the things she loved gave her great joy. She always held her faith close and spent countless hours at church sharing her love, talents, and gift to make friends. I was lucky to call her my Godmother and my Cousin, a double connection to a special lady that God used to touch many lives. Soni was always a phone call or letter away-she will be missed! Her spirit, laughter, sense of humor and love of people will carry on through many of us. I take great comfort knowing God welcomed Soni home with the words, well done my faithful servant! Soni Thank You for always being Soni--Much Love and many memories will endure in your memory and honor! Try not to tell too many Norwegian jokes in heaven right away, pace yourself--Love and Hugs!! Erick and Family
