    I have known Shirley for many years when I played for the services at Pleasant Valley Methodist Church. She was a loving person who did lots of things to help other people. One time when I was in rehab after a surgery, Shirley visited me and brought a beautiful lap quilt which she had made. That hangs on the end of my bed to warm my toes, and remind me of that special, dear lady. We all miss her!

    I am sorry for your loss. I remember your mother as a very kind woman even though I didn't know her well.

    We have been around the block a few times together and separate. Truly enjoyed working with you in the office at the Eau Claire Tire Plant. Now that I have retired in Wisconsin after many years elsewhere I can go to the Eleva Broiler Festival again.

    Mary Margaret, Dan & Carol;
    You probably don't even remember me, but my Mom, Mary Jane Deutscher Williams was a good friend of your Mom. They lived together at 310 1/2 Lake Street in Eau Claire before they got married and remained friends the rest of their lives. As a kid I remember going to visit your family on more than one occasion. My mom died in 2010 and while your Mom couldn't make it to the funeral, we talked on the phone then. She was a great lady and lived a long, full life. My sympathy to you all.
